WELCOME TO CMH WELLNESS
Your Health Is My Passion!
My name is Cynthia Helgeson. I am an Advanced Registered Nurse Practioner with over 15 years in emergency medicine as an RN and 4 years in private practice as an ARNP.
After my career in emergency medicine, I’ve seen firsthand that true health and the most effective healing starts with prevention and a proactive approach – long before you end up in the hospital.
My mission is to help our community thrive by providing the tools, care, and education needed to live and enjoy the very best lives we can.
My specialties include integrative health, weight loss, sexual health, hormone therapy, IV therapy, and alternate states of consciousness.
I serve patients via telehealth throughout Washington state. I provide in-person sessions as well as mobile IV therapy in Poulsbo, Kingston, Gig Harbor, Olympia, & the Greater Peninsula. Please book online or reach out directly via phone or email.
Accepting new patients.
I appreciated questions Cynthia asked to gauge what I valued most in regards to my own health care.
Her responses revealed a knowledgeable practitioner that is committed to expertly supporting a path that recognizes the
connection between emotional, physical and psychological well being/health. I'm delighted to be working with her.

Each infusion is medically supervised and customized based on your health history and goals. Safety screening is always completed prior to treatment.
What symptoms may indicate a hormone imbalance?
Common symptoms include fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, sleep disruption, mood changes, low libido, hot flashes, and decreased motivation.
Hormonal changes can occur during perimenopause, menopause, and andropause, but they can also be influenced by stress, thyroid function, and metabolic health. Lab testing helps guide appropriate treatment decisions.
How do you evaluate patients before starting hormone therapy?
We begin with a comprehensive health history, symptom review, and lab testing. Treatment plans are created based on both clinical findings and your personal health goals.
Hormone therapy is monitored carefully over time with follow-up labs and adjustments as needed.
Is medical weight loss more effective than dieting alone?
Medical weight loss addresses underlying factors such as hormones, insulin resistance, thyroid function, inflammation, and stress.
Rather than focusing only on calorie restriction, we evaluate metabolic health and create a structured, medically supervised plan designed for sustainable results.
